Matt and Rebecca met while doing mission work in South America. They were blessed to begin their careers in a secondary school in Ecuador. Matt was from Texas and Rebecca was from Northeast Georgia. The couple fell completely in love and became engaged. Rebecca could only return home twice in less than a year to plan their wedding.
Brasstown Valley Resort in the Northeast Georgia Mountains provided the perfect landscape for their precious wedding day!
Hydrangea House Events created an autumn wedding that was perfect for the two of them. Resort guests were greeted with a basket filled with wine from a local vineyard, snacks from Young Harris and bottled Cokes as well as sweet treats!
Wedding guests were welcomed with a beautiful fall scenic ceremony while enjoying the strings of Bella Musica as they traveled over the mountains. The warmth of the reception was created by the breath taking rock open fireplace adorned with pumpkins, gords, wheat, acorns and fall leaves.
Each guest attending the wedding left with a peck of red delicious apples from the Georgia Mountains to enjoy as a reminder of the remarkable difference that they made in Matt & Rebecca's special day!
